Clients tell their story ...
One of our worst fears is to lose our three-year-old son. It has happened briefly for 15 minutes which seemed like hours. We want to cut this time down as much as possible. Even moments are horrifying when you do not know where your child is.
At a local amusement park I found a little girl that had lost her Mom. I took her to the water park with me and took her to the first aid station. This little girl's Mom was not in the water park. So I in essence led this child further away from her Mom. If she had been wearing an EZ BZ ID wristband I could have called her Mom as soon as I found her.
I paid $20 for an engraved ID bracelet. My two-year-old had the bracelet off before we even arrived at the event. We have since resorted to writing my cell number on his arm with a Sharpie marker.
When our son was just 18-months-old we lost him at church. We attend a large church. We were playing peek a boo around the corner while we were waiting for the kids to arrive to the class my husband and I were teaching. I was distracted by a question from another teacher and thought my older son (9 at the time) was still keeping on eye on his little brother. A few moments went by and Zachary wasn't playing peek a boo anymore. He had left Kid's World all together and was all the way to the sanctuary. It was only 15 minutes but it seemed like forever.
